Subject: Introducing the New Class Schedule

The Office of the University Registrar is pleased to release the Class Schedule web site which is part of the new Self-Service Banner (SSB) student system. In addition to standard lookup functionality, students can now search for classes by:

  • instructor
  • credit hour range
  • specific start and end times on specified days
  • GenEd courses across subjects

The enhanced Class Schedule is the first in a series of improvements as Temple replaces aging student administrative systems with a new integrated SunGard Banner infrastructure. The system will ultimately handle registration, billing, grades and transcripts.

As we progress through the Banner implementation, we will keep you informed on how to access familiar processes and information on the new system. Stay tuned this month for the next phase of the project when registration moves from OWLnet to the new system. Details on how to register for courses through the Self-Service Banner link on TUportal will be released soon.
