Subject: Prepare for System Transition

As we approach the end of this fiscal year and gear up to move from FMS to Banner, it is important that you plan ahead for upcoming system transition outages. At the end of the month, our requisitioning systems will be down for the migration to Banner so review your product and services requirements early. If you have staff who need to access TUmarketplace beginning July 1st and they have not yet registered, please have them do so immediately. Information on obtaining access is available at www.temple.edu/purchasing/TUmarketplace.

Purchasing announced in an April 30th year-end letter that Ultimus will be turned off at close of business day June 26th. To view the April 30th announcement in its entirety go to www.temple.edu/purchasing and click on New Fiscal Year Changes.

In order to connect Banner and TUmarketplace, we will also be taking TUmarketplace down at end of business day June 26th. TUmarketplace will not come back up until July 1st. Kindly review your product/service requirements and plan accordingly. Submit your Ultimus requisitions and TUmarketplace orders before the June 26th cutoff date.

Quick Summary of System Availability

  • Need to access TUmarketplace but have not yet registered yet?
    Begin registration now.

  • Ultimus requisitions must be entered and approved by close of business day, June 26th, 2009. Ultimus entry will be turned off at close of business June 26th.

  • TUMarketplace will go down at the end of business day June 26th and come back up 8:00 a.m., July 1st.

  • TUmarketplace non-catalog function replaces Ultimus requisitions on July 1st.
