Microsoft is currently pushing out Internet Explorer 8 as part of their automatic updates. If you use the Cognos Consumer reporting links on TUportal or Cognos Query Studio to access reports, you should not experience any issues using IE8.

If, however, you use Cognos Report Studio to write reports, please be aware that IE8 has not been certified to work with Cognos and there are known issues.

In order to continue using Cognos Report Studio, you must make adjustments in Internet Explorer 8 by following the instructions in the pdf document, Using Cognos Report Studio with Internet Explorer 8. Note these instructions are required only if you develop reports with Cognos Report Studio using IE8. As of now, there are no known issues with the Cognos reporting links on TUportal or with Cognos Query Studio when running existing reports.
