In moving forward with Project Enterprise, we are pleased to announce that the first component of Banner Student was launched on August 2, 2010. Banner Enrollment Management, Recruitment, and Admissions will provide the University with contemporary technology tools for managing inquiries and applications, processing decisions, and viewing operational and performance management reports. To improve communication, this new module also provides a convenient application for generating e-mail messages and enables prospective students to access customized information on TUportal.

The document lists essential Enrollment Management, Recruitment, and Admissions processes and indicates on which system these functions will be handled for upcoming semesters. In some cases, there will be a period of transition from legacy systems to Banner.

Training Sessions Conducted
To prepare staff members in advance, the Banner Enrollment Management, Recruitment, and Admissions team offered a total of 57 training sessions on Banner Admissions and Recruitment topics and Banner Relationship Management during the month of July. Staff members who attended training were given login access to the new system. If you did not get a chance to attend training and establish your login credentials, additional training sessions will be conducted during August. Moving Forward
Bringing the new Banner system online takes a significant amount of development and testing. With any new system, however, we know that issues and problems may arise.
