CTS Service for Non-Credit and Special Events
The primary function of Classroom Technology Support (CTS) is to meet the media and technology needs of instructors teaching for-credit courses in the classroom environment. Support for special events such as meetings, conferences and other non-credit events may be provided, if:
Student events may be scheduled in meeting rooms in SAC or in the TECH Center, which features 13 breakout rooms equipped with a conference table, computer, and wall-mounted flat-screen monitor by accessinghttp://www.temple.edu/sac/reserve

Please note that these are the hours of operation when classes are in session between the first day of a semester and last day of finals. When classes are not in session, the CTS hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the buildings listed above. Service to events scheduled outside the normal CTS hours of operation or scheduled in buildings that are not in the defined Area of Service may be provided for an hourly fee provided staffing and equipment are available. More specifically, CTS will charge $35 per hour (2 hour minimum charge) per building per event. For example, if the event requires service to one, two, three, etc. rooms in one supported building, the charge will be $35 per hour. If the event requires service to rooms in two supported buildings, the charge will be $70 per hour; 3 buildings, $105 per hour, etc. (Pricing may vary on the Temple University Center City campus. |

To request a smart cart or the delivery and set up of other computer or media equipment such as a VCR or microphones for a non-credit or special event, contact one of the Classroom Technology Support depots at least 7 business days in advance of the event. If you need to cancel a previous reservation, please contact the appropriate office at least two days prior to the event or your department will be subject to the set fee.
