Accessing Temple's
Library Research Databases
from Off-Campus

Temple's library research databases and certain library resources--such as LexisNexis Academic and Academic Search Premier--are restricted to members of the Temple community. To access these resources from off-campus, perform the following steps:

1. Login into Temple's TUportal Web site (http://tuportal.temple.edu).

2. Click on the TULibrary tab.

3. When prompted, reenter your AccessNet password.

4. The Temple University Libraries Web site will then appear. Follow the appropriate links for finding articles via the databases.

Troubleshooting

The Temple University Libraries Web site appears in a new window. If it does not appear, you may have a pop blocker enabled. In this case, you will need to either temporarily disable the popup blocker or modify it to allow Temple Web sites to appear.

If the Temple University Libraries Web site appears, but you are prompted to enter a username and password that is specific to a particular research database, you must configure your Web browser to use Temple's proxy server. Instructions for this are provided below:
