Service Catalog
The Instructional Support Center (ISC) provides technical assistance, advice, and suggestions on how to use instructional technology to faculty, adjunct instructors, teaching assistants, and others who teach a course at Temple University.
This service is available to instructors who:
- Need help with:
- a specific technology for a course, such as Blackboard, blogs, wikis, podcasts, web conferencing, and "clickers"
- applications to create digital materials, such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, Acrobat, or Camtasia
- Need access to:
- specialized systems to deliver digital content, such as a digital image database, streaming web server, web conferencing, or iTunes U
- specialized equipment to produce digital material for a course, such as high-end scanners or video editing equipment
- Would like to brainstorm about the best method for using instructional technology to meet specific instructional goals
- Have an idea about using technology to teach a concept but need help getting started
- Need to know about distance learning as well as the technology and
facilities available for using this resource
- Want to learn how other instructors are using certain technologies

Maximum assistance on how to use instructional technology is available in the Instructional Support Centers listed below from Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

General assistance is available through the Help Desk during normal business hours. Questions on advanced topics, however, may have to be referred to the ISC and will be addressed during normal business hours only.
Note: Consultations are not available during Temple University holidays.
The ISC offers the following options:
- Instructor-Led Training & Instructional Technologies User Group (ITUG)
Several training, demonstration, and information sessions on topics targeted to various levels of expertise are offered. A listing of sessions is available on the Technology Training and Outreach website.
