Software News

Adobe CS6 - Adobe has released the new CS6 Bundles. Computer Business Services is working on obtaining the new software and upgrades for those who purchased upgrade plans with their licenses. Please be advised that upgrades to the Adobe products are not typically distributed until approximately a month after their release. There is a brief testing period prior to full release of the new software at the University

There have been some changes within the Creative Suites with CS6:

• Contribute is no longer a part of any of the Suites.
• Design Premium and Web Premium have been combined into CS6 Design & Web Premium.
• Design Standard will have Photoshop CS6 as part of the bundle, while the rest of the Suites will come with Photoshop CS6 Extended. The difference between the two bundles is the Extended version comes with 3D capabilities.

Note: When purchasing the Creative Suite Bundles through the SHI Punch-out in TUmarketplace, you will need to purchase the CS6 version. You will be provided with the CS5.5 software initially, then you will automatically receive CS6 when it is cleared for distribution to the University community.
