Computer Business Services Software Site License Program refers to software licenses made available via volume purchase agreements that have been negotiated on Temple University's behalf. Temple University has a site license or other purchasing agreement with the following software publishers:

Adobe

Publisher's Homepage: http://www.adobe.com

Overview
Temple University currently participates in the Adobe Contractual License Program (CLP) 4.5. This program enables Temple to acquire Adobe products at a very significant discount from retail price. The current program term is September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2013.
Eligibility
The software is available for Temple University Faculty and Staff only.
Work at Home Use
The terms of our CLP program allow for a second copy of the software to be installed on either a portable device (laptop) or a computer located at home, provided that the secondary computer and primary (work) computer are not in use at the same time and that the software is used for Temple related work purposes only.

Media for work at home use should be obtained by your department and returned upon completion of the home install. When employment with Temple University is terminated, the work at home software must be uninstalled and returned or destroyed.
Personal Use
Students and Faculty/Staff who have personal software requirements may purchase software at a reduced rate from the Academic Reseller, Journey Education. Please note: First time purchasers will be required to provide proof of eligibility directly to Journey Education.
Concurrent Licenses
Adobe products are available as single user and concurrent licenses. Concurrent licenses allow for a shared usage deployment that is typically used in computer lab enviornments. The concurrent license model requires active monitoring via a software/hardware solution that makes it inappropriate for most office settings. Please contact Computer Business Services for a quote at software@temple.edu if you require concurrent licenses.
Pricing
Current pricing for our Adobe Licenses can be found in the SHI Punch-out located on the main page of TUmarketplace.

Note: Adobe will be changing their licensing model on Creative Suites. As of January, 2013, upgrade plans have been discontinued for the Creative Suites and any license included in any of the Creative Suites, with the exception of Acrobat. More changes are due to come in May/June. CBS will disclose any additional information received as soon as possible.
Contribute Licenses

Those who will be creating or editing http://develop.temple.edu websites with Adobe Contribute software must purchase a Contribute Publishing Server License and Upgrade Plan in order to publish pages to the Develop server.

Please use the following part numbers when ordering through the SHI Punch-out in TUmarketplace:

  • contributeMAC - Contribute CS6.5 Web Publishing Bundle for Mac - Single License (Includes Contribute CS6.5 License and Contribute Publishing Server v1.1 - Win )

    • If an agreement is not on file, print out the appropriate Master Software Site License Agreement and either attach it in the internal notes section of your Purchase Requisition or email it to software@temple.edu.
