 Overview
Temple University participates in the Symantec Rewards program. The contractual license program provides perpetual licenses for AntiVirus, security and computer imaging software as well as software maintenance and support. The Program term is June 29, 2007 through June 28, 2009.
Eligibility
Ghost Solution Suite 2.0 is available for Temple University Faculty and Staff only.
Symantec Anti Virus for Home use is available for Students as well as Faculty and Staff.

Pricing and Products
Ghost:
For Campus use, Ghost Solution Suite 2.0 is available. It is sold as a license and maintenance/support bundle. The support runs through June 28, 2009. The cost for a new license/support is $8.00. If you have a previous version of Ghost, the cost for an upgrade license/support is $5.00. To obtain an upgrade, you must show proof of purchase for your current license. The cost of media for Ghost is $1.75.
AntiVirus :
For Home use by Faculty, Staff and Students, Symantec AntiVirus is available for a one-time charge of $8.00. End users will receive a single license, CD media, and online updates. The updates will be provided during your affiliation with the University and as long as Temple maintains a contractual relationship with Symantec. Once you leave the employ of the University, graduate or are no longer a current student you must de-install and discontinue use of the software. Please see

Upgrade Options
For Ghost Solution Suite 2.0, upgrades are provided at no additional charge with the purchase of your new/upgrade license bundle.
For Symantec AntiVirus, product updates and upgrades will be provided during your affiliation with the University and as long as Temple maintains a contractual relationship with Symantec.

How to Order
Ghost:
If your department would like to purchase Ghost Solution Suite 2.0, please submit a workflow request containing the following information.
- Deliver to name
- Full address with room number
- Telephone number
- List CD/DVD if needed
- Indicate Operating System (i.e., Windows, MAC, Linux)
Failure to comply with this procedure could delay the processing of your workflow request.
AntiVirus :
You can purchase your Home Use copy of Symantec Antivirus in person at either the Help Desk or Bursar offices during their normal business hours. You must bring your Temple ID. For students, the cost will be deducted from your Diamond Dollars account. For Faculty/Staff, the cost will be processed via payroll deduction.
