Enterprise Resource Planning

Project Enterprise is a major Temple University-wide initiative to integrate and upgrade all major administrative systems into a consolidated, state-of-the-art database-driven infrastructure based on SunGard's Higher Education Integrated Digital Campus platform. This $38 million, five-year Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation will replace Temple's aging mainframe systems including the Financial Management System (FMS), the Human Resources System (HRS), and the Student Information System (ISIS), as well as numerous other sub-systems that have been developed over the last 25 years.

Enterprise Reporting Services

The Enterprise Reporting Services (ERS) group is currently involved in implementing and maintaining a University-wide reporting system based on the IBM Cognos reporting tool. IBM Cognos is used to access data from the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) modules that are part of the SunGard Banner application suite.
