At the
core of the Feith system is the Feith Document Database (FDD).
FDD offers a versatile object repository that stores
scanned images, faxes, application files, e-mails, records,
CAD drawings, videos, etc. These objects are either key
indexed or automatically indexed using recognition
technology, such as bar code and OCR (optical character
recognition) into an Oracle database.
Additionally, a full-text database can be utilized in
conjunction with the standard structured database creating a
very powerful search capability.
Retrieval
is controlled by user permissions and each event is audited
in the system to insure secure access. FDD is accessed
either using a graphical user interface or through a Web
browser.
With

-
Automate complex business
processes to improve worker productivity
-
Ensure work gets done on time
-
Gain greater understanding of
the potential bottlenecks in your business processes
-
Streamline processes for
greatest efficiency
-
Make your business more
effective, efficient, and responsive by automating the flow
of information though your organization
-
Gain easy access to workflow
via the Internet or your Intranet
-
Workflow iQ gives you the
power to monitor, administer, track, and control your
operation in real time, all the time -- to compete in time!
Ease of Use and Flexibility
-
The user-friendly
interface of Workflow iQ allows you to design and administer
workflows by drawing and placing pictures and connecting
lines
-
Supports automatic,
conditional, deadline, error, multi-select, and
single-select routing. A route defines how and why the work
arrives at a particular task
-
Increases productivity
with automatic email reminders of due dates, follow-ups for
replies, past due alerts, and priority escalation. Workflow
iQ can tie into Oracle Alerts using REX, the Feith Rules
Engine. The work then moves immediately instead of at polled
intervals
-
Automatically reassign
work in the event of personnel changes, vacations or sick
leave
-
Audits workflows. View
current, pending and completed work, as well as work history
-
You can create a task
in Workflow iQ that waits for a specified mix of expected
documents to appear. Only when all the 'expected' documents
have arrived does the workflow proceed. The system does not
need human intervention to route the documents, it does it
automatically
-
At a certain stage in
the workflow, it might be necessary for the system to e-mail
a task to a remote user. When the e-mail or "Work-o-gram" is
received, the user can update fields in the form, make a
'comment' and route it to anyone. The Work-o-gram links back
to FDD and automatically updates the task in the workflow
- The Vital Signs
feature shows 'live' aging and productivity statistics for
active workflow documents. For example, the user will be
able to see the current volume of work in a specific task,
the average speed at which work is completed in a task, and
the total productivity by a user or group
- Finishing Touches
-- add a SQL finishing touch to a task. When a document is
processed, the SQL statement will automatically update the
database to add the 'finishing touches' to a completed
workflow task.
Feith's
Forms iQ (eForms) is a dynamic web-based electronic
forms solution. It's the fastest and easiest way to make
your business process "open to the public." Forms iQ's easy
interface allows you to create a web form in seconds and can
even start a business process with Feith's Workflow iQ.
Workflow
iQ and Forms iQ can do more than replicate a paper process;
it can streamline your business and give you a competitive
advantage. At the same time, Forms iQ can provide a
complete, signed record of a transaction that will satisfy
legal and regulatory requirements.
