Eric Hamilton received his MA in fiction writing in 1994. After graduating, he worked at GLAMOUR magazine and then abruptly changed careers, spending ten years in multiple departments at the Boston Public Health Commission. He is now living in Southern California, working for a large healthcare HMO as a contracts administrator and studying full time for a PhD in psychology. He's been writing a detective novel set in Los Angeles & Pasadena, and has been writing (although not publishing) poetry.
