BIOGRAPHY:

William Derrevere

William Derrevere was first introduced to metals at the age of sixteen at a scout ranch. He learned more about jewelry and metals in high school. Since then, Derrevere knew what he wanted to do. He was also interested in painting, color, sculpture and form; all of which have contributed to his work. Derrevere has been most influenced by workshops, demonstrations, sharing ideas and hands on experience. Particular people that been influential are Steve Albair, Robert Ebendorf, Jay Adams and Fred Fenster. Many isolated hours in his studio learning more about a process or material and problem solving are important experiences which he values.

"I learn something new everyday I work", says Derrevere.
