[duplex outlet rotation] A duplex wall outlet. Based on the architectural symbol for a duplex electrical outlet.

Composed of three parts: two commercially available receptacles and the wall plate/frame. The plate/frame is produced via SLS (Selective Laser Sintering, a rapid prototyping technology) in nylon. The plate installs flat against the wall with screws that are hidden behind the yellow receptacles. The receptacles are wired and secured after the plate is mounted. The receptacles are attached with the screws originally intended to secure them to a power cord setup.

The plate is 15cm in diameter. The vertical flanges, part of the support for the receptacles, project 6cm from the wall when installed.
