Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that can rob the individual of reality and identity.  It may affect the five senses and the way in which they function properly. The individual can have visual, auditory, sensory, tactile, and olfactory hallucinations. Paranoia and other delusional thoughts may skew an individuals' reality. Many who suffer from this disorder can reduce the symptoms through medication. However, the effectiveness varies from person to person. Some may treat only 80% of all symptoms and are forced to utilize strategies of coping skills and to deal with the remaining symptoms. Reality checking plays a large part in the individual's recovery. My Reality device is designed to house a small digital camera in which the individual can monitor their visual and audio hallucinations. Reality Bracelet CAD/CAM, virtual,  7.8" x 9.5" x 5.5"
