Police Officer Emergency/Disaster Training:
Development of Stress-Reduction Components

This project will work with the Philadelphia police department to create a multiphase initiative addressing mental health and public health disaster/emergency preparedness. Following a comprehensive needs assessment with the police department, a training program will be developed to fill gaps in officer disaster training, reflect identified objectives, and build upon outlined task force aims in the MIRT mission.
