Controller's Office - General Accounting

The General Accounting Department at Temple is responsible for the recording, analyzing and reporting of financial transactions of Temple University. Through the development and maintenance of procedures and controls, we ensure that these transactions are made in conformity with Temple University policies and are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the accounting guidelines established by the National Association of College and University Business Officers.

Note: New Account codes for Computers & Peripherals
There is a need to distinguish between capital and non-capital computers & computer peripherals. Please use account code 7218 for purchases of computers and peripherals under $5,000 & account code 7875 for computers over $5,000. Also, please use account code 7874 for peripherals over $5,000.
