Temple’s Service Community
Across campus Temple students, faculty and staff are working to improve communities around the city and beyond. From Learning Living Communities that allow students to connect with like-minded peers to student organizations focused on improving neighborhoods around campus to the university’s Global Day of Service, there are numerous opportunities to make a difference.
Through the Temple University Community Service Association (TUCSA), students work to spread the message of service across the university and guide others toward service that has impact. Each semester, TUCSA members participate in (or lead) xx numbers of volunteer activities across the city.
Temple’s BS in Community Development prepares students for careers in community development. Students will learn to understand and think critically about the social, political, economic, historic, and cultural dynamics shaping various types of communities.
