Community Education

As a leading educational institution in Southeastern Pennsylvania dedicated to providing access to excellence in education, Temple offers a number of community-oriented education programs designed to engage our neighbors in meaningful educational experiences. From GED track courses and basic computing classes to innovative music programs, Temple offers the community a number of options for continuing education and enrichment.

Pan-African Studies Community Education Program (PASCEP)
Administered by the Office of Community Education, PASCEP has been providing a nontraditional non-credit education curriculum to residents of North Philadelphia for more than three decades. PASCEP offers courses in a wide variety of topics, ranging from basic literacy to computer workforce training. Participants can also earn their GED.
