“Three days a week I spent a few hours researching exciting policy and creating images for Seventy’s new website. I developed relationships with the Committee’s directors and developed a new awareness of Philadelphia politics and important regional issues. I was able to use my own abilities and interests to help one of the city’s most important organizations work to improve Philadelphia’s oft-maligned politics. I felt as if I was working to change the city for the better, all in a few hours before Literature class.
