New Student Orientation (NSO) provides students with a comprehensive view of life at Temple University. All newly matriculated College of Liberal Arts students are required to attend an NSO program. This university wide orientation is intended to introduce students to the Temple University resources and their degree requirements.
The College of Liberal Arts academic portion of NSO will first introduce students to their academic degree requirements while later allowing them to meet with the College of Liberal Arts Academic Advisors. This meeting then enables students to self register for their courses.
Students and their families will also have the opportunity to meet with additional offices and services (i.e. Office of Student Financial Services, Housing Office, Disabilities Resources and Services, etc.)
