The Office of Research in the College of Liberal Arts exists to promote and support high quality research and scholarship by faculty members and students. The Office serves to nurture a climate conducive to research by disseminating internal and external funding opportunities, assisting in proposal construction and submission, and training faculty and students in the implementation and administration of their grants. We highly encourage creative, entrepreneurial, interdisciplinary efforts by faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts.

RECENT ACCOLADES IN CLA
The results of a large-scale collaborative study on which Philip Kendall (Psychology) conducted research have been recently published in several outlets. The project, The Child/Adolescent Anxiety Multimodal Study (CAMS), was the topic of articles in several newspapers, and published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Under the direction of Assistant Professor Christie Rockwell (Anthropology), doctoral student Elizabeth Rowe has been awarded a Dissertation Fieldwork Grant from the Wenner-Gren Foundation for her research entitled, The Role of the Progesterone Receptor in the Menstrual Cycle.
