Program Description

CJTP conducts training programs for Constables in the Southeast region of Pennsylvania under a contract from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (P.C.C.D.).  The Southeast region includes: Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Northampton, Berks, and Lehigh counties.

Each year Constables are required to complete 20-hours of Continuing Education training in order to maintain their certification.  C.J.T.P. provides Continuing Educattion training annually to approximately 400 Constables from August thorough October.  Training is conducted at several locations in the Southeast region, including: Allentown, Reading, West Chester, Delaware County, and Ambler.

To register for classes, Constables are encouraged to register on-line using the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency web site.  To access the P.C.C.D. website, click on the blue hyperlink.
