Dr. Phil Harris in Vietnam

Dr. Harris has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to support lecturing on criminology and criminal justice policy in Vietnam during the Spring 2013 semester (January thru May). He is located at the School of Law, Vietnam National University in Hanoi. While there, he hopes to examine closely juvenile justice policies and practices to compare American and Vietnamese responses to what we call delinquency.

Drs. Harris and Van Cleve speak at Temple's Mass Incarceration in America Teach-in Event
The Mass Incarceration Event at Temple took place on November 29, 2012. This event comprised nationally reknowned scholars, inclduing Drs. Harris and Van Cleve, who discussed the criminalization of communities, the industry of mass incaceration, and the implications of race, prison labor, and private industry. Dr. Belenko receives Distinguished Scholar Award at the 2012 American Society of Criminology
Professor Belenko was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award by the Division on Corrections and Sentencing at the 2012 American Society of Criminology. Professor Belenko was also named Associate Editor of the new Springer journal, Health and Justice, and was appointed to the Editorial Board of Justice Quarterly.
