The Health Behavior Research Clinic
Pediatrics Research Group
The pediatrics research group comprises of clinicians and researchers interested in improving patient care and our understanding of complex inter-relationships between biological, socio-cultural, and behavioral factors that influence patient health and disease processes. Current projects include various studies examining the etiology and treatment of pediatric overweight and obesity; patient-parent communication and child health; postpartum smoking and breasfeeding relationships; and factors that predict physical activity among overweight adolescents.
