Natasha Davis
Clinical Instructor
Department of Public Health

 

Dr. Davis received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan.  She received both her MPH and EdD from Columbia University.  She also completed a pre-doctoral fellowship from the National Institutes of Health and the Research Group on Disparities in Health at Columbia.  Her interests include HIV/AIDS, human sexuality, prejudice and discrimination and health outcomes and disparities.  Prior to joining Temple, she served as an instructor at Bronx Community College, City University of New York.  She also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work.  Dr. Davis has assisted community-based organizations that mobilize African Americans and communities of color to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic by developing effective evaluation strategies.  She is a member of the Society of Public Health Education and the American Public Health Association.
