Linda Levy
MA, OTR/L, FAOTA

Linda Levy, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy, a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and a Faculty Associate of the Geriatric Education Center of Pennsylvania. She received her basic professional training in occupational therapy and completed graduate studies in health systems planning and gerontology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her areas of clinical specialization include adult psychosocial dysfunction, geropsychiatry, and geriatric rehabilitation. In addition, she teaches in the areas of health care systems, group dynamics, and fall prevention to both professional entry level and advanced graduate occupational and physical therapy students. She was the first recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from the College of Allied Health Professions. She has published widely in the occupational therapy and rehabilitation literature and presented numerous workshops and seminars. She was one of sixteen nationally designated experts appointed to the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research Panel on Screening for Alzheimer's and Related Dementias by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' office of the Forum for Quality and Effectiveness in Health Care. Currently, she is a consultant to a multi-site study funded by the National Institute on Aging entitled Project REACH (Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregiver Health), as well as coordinator for Temple's Cultural Access Initiative, in collaboration with ARTREACH, Inc.
