Jennifer K. Ibrahim, PhD, MPH, MA
Assistant Professor

Dr. Ibrahim’s area of expertise is in health policy making, including development and implementation. Dr. Ibrahim’s research focuses on health behavior modification through group and environmental level approaches, especially policy. Most recently, she has been investigating means to address tobacco use through cessation treatments and through tobacco control policies at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition, Dr. Ibrahim is also beginning new projects exploring the infrastructure, communications and policies regarding domestic food safety.
While at Temple University, Dr. Ibrahim has taught Program Evaluation, History and Bioethics of Public Health, Political and Economic Aspects of Health and Theoretical Foundations of Public Health at the Graduate level and Power, Politics and Payments in Health Care at the Undergraduate level. She is currently working to develop additional courses in health policy, including a theories class on the development of health policy.
