Jennifer K. Ibrahim, PhD, MPH, MA
Assistant Professor

Dr. Ibrahim’s area of expertise is in health policy making, including development and implementation. Dr. Ibrahim’s research focuses on health behavior modification through individual and environmental level approaches. Most recently, she has been investigating means to address tobacco use through cessation treatments and through tobacco control policies at the local, state, and federal levels. Dr. Ibrahim has presented at several national conferences and worked closely with health advocates to translate her research into practice.

As a new member of the faculty in the College of Health Professions, Dr. Ibrahim will continue her research on the impact of health policies on behavior modification, focusing primarily on tobacco use. In addition, she will be teaching courses in public health program planning and evaluation.
