Cathy A. Flite, M.Ed., RHIA,
Clinical Assistant Professor

Cathy Flite earned her B.S. in Health Information Management at Temple University and her Master of Education from Widener University. Last spring she began working towards a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development at The Fielding Graduate Institute. She teaches in the areas of health information management, medical terminology, human resource management and financial reimbursement methodologies. Ms. Flite has worked and consulted in several health care organizations in health information management over the past fifteen years. Currently, Ms. Flite is serving as the Treasurer of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association and a national association committee member of the AHIMA Education Strategy Committee. Her research interest includes the complexities of managing health information management systems in the context of surrounding political forces and dramatic changes in technology.
