C. Thomas North
MBA, PH.D., OTR/L

C. Thomas North, MBA, Ph.D., OTR/L, earned his B.A. in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University, his certification in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania, his MBA in Health Administration from Temple University, and his Ph.D. in Health Studies from Temple University. He has over thirty years of clinical experience and is still practicing in addition to his responsibilities at Temple. His research/ clinical interests include: reimbursement and its impact upon treatment, the psycho-social aspects of disease/ disability management, and clinical education. He teaches gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, clinical conditions, assessment and intervention in the adult and older adult, and advanced concepts in healthcare management. He is a recipient of the Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching. He was also named 2002 Fieldwork Educator of the Year, by the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association. He is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association.
