Physical Therapy identifies, prevents and improves physical dysfunctions for those with injury, disease or inherited disorders through movement and behavioral theories. Physical therapist may work as clinicians, teachers, researchers, consultants, administrators and advocates. Among the programs offered is a Doctor Of Physical Therapy, earned by either a three-year entry level program to prepare physical therapists for the distance based transition program for practicing clinicians, and a Doctor of Philosophy for therapists who plan to conduct research and teach.
