APPLICANT INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program here at Temple University. Our leadership as one of the first accredited DPT programs in the country, renowned faculty and award winning diversity recently earned us recognition by US News and World Report as one of the top ten physical therapy graduate programs in the nation. Our program is located on the dynamic Health Sciences Campus where more students prepare for careers in health care than any other state related university in the nation.

We are currently accepting applications for admission into this professional program for the academic year beginning the Fall Semester of 2006. Enclosed are materials that outline the admission process and an application packet. Please review the entire packet and read the instructions carefully before completing the forms.

The Physical Therapy Program is an accredited three-year full time graduate program. Admission to the program is based upon many factors including academic performance, Graduate Record Examination scores, knowledge of the profession, and letters of reference. The most qualified applicants are invited for an interview.

Applications received by November 1 will be reviewed for decision by December 15. Applications received by December 15 will be reviewed for a decision by March 1.
