Professional Enhancement Certificates

Many classes are available in distance education format

The certificates offer a post professional educational opportunity for certified occupational therapists (OTR) who are interested in experiencing graduate education. Certificates are comprised of three to four courses which are taken in a sequence for graduate credits. These courses are aimed at increasing theoretical and practice knowledge in specific practice areas. At the completion of the sequence, the department issues a certificate indicating successful fulfillment of the course content.

A certain amount of credits taken as certificate course work can be applied to the the Advanced MS and DOT programs. The certificates are offered in the following specialty areas:
