Language and Literacy Lab Personnel
Megan Davison Megan is an assistant professor at Temple and director of the Language and Literacy Lab. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in Early Intervention and preschool settings. Favorite Children’s Book: The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams and Knufflebunny by Mo Willems Kelly Birzes Kelly is a second-year graduate student in the Speech-Language-Hearing program at Temple. She is not yet sure what she wants to do with her degree because many aspects of the profession appeal to her! Favorite Children’s Book: Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
Lauren Burke Lauren is a senior Communication Sciences and Disorders major at Temple. Upon graduating from Temple, Lauren plans to attend graduate school to earn her Masters. She would like to work with children in early intervention programs or work in an elementary school.
Favorite Children's Book: Mog and Bunny by Judith Kerr Amanda Fabish Amanda is a senior Communication Sciences and Disorders major with plans to attend a graduate program for a Masters in speech pathology. She would like to work with children most likely in an Early Intervention setting.
Favorite children's book: Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett Lauren Kraske Lauren is a senior at Penn State University and is a visiting research assistant. She plans on attending graduate school to earn her Master’s degree. She hopes to work in a school setting while working in a private clinic or her own practice as well. Favorite Children’s Book: The Foot Book by Dr. Suess Marisa Solis Marisa is a second year graduate student in the Speech-Language Hearing program at Temple.
Danielle Viens Danielle is an undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders major.
Favorite Book: Tuesday with Morrie by Mitch Albom
Lab Alumni Lauren Mooney Lauren was a research assistant in the lab from 2008-2009. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Penn State University in speech-language pathology.
