Who’s New?
Kim Banson Sabourin
Kim is the new director of clinical services at Temple University Speech Language and Hearing Clinic. She comes to Temple from University of Maryland at College Park, where her special interests were swallowing and oral motor disorders. She earned her BA from Pennsylvania State University and her MA from University of Maryland at College Park.
Dawn R. Dandridge
Dawn is the new coordinator of speech services in the Communication Sciences Department. She has worked for Temple University for 16 years at other locations, including the psychiatry department and the Center City office. Her daughter attended TU and graduated with a degree in Communications. She commented that she enjoys working in our department because the office has an uplifting atmosphere
Ferenc Bunta
Ferenc Bunta is a postdoctoral fellow in the Communication Sciences Department at Temple University. Currently, Dr. Bunta is conducting research on bilingual and cross-linguistic phonological acquisition in close collaboration with and under the mentorship of Dr. Brian A. Goldstein in the Communication Sciences Department at Temple University. His research focuses on bilingual and cross-linguisitc child phonological acquisition. He received his Ph. D. from the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at Arizona State University under the mentorship of Dr. David Ingram. Dr. Bunta has also conducted research on second language phonological acquisition and foreign accented English. Besides his research, Dr. Bunta has also taught a variety of courses in communication sciences and disorders and related areas. He also served as a teaching associate for several courses and gave a number of invited lectures on various topics.
