Sustainability Committee

President Hart's establishment of a Sustainability Task Force (STF) in th eSpring of 2007.  She charged its members with, "... providing insights, counsel, and advice on current issues regarding environmental responsibility in large, urban universities; new and best-practice methods for addressing these issues, and possible actions Temple University might take toward creating and maintaining a sustainable campus environment." The STF will be guided by four underlying principles:

1. Promote a green campus culture.
2. Foster practical, useful and forward looking change.
3. Promote environmental literacy across the University.
4. Make recommendations to the President.

The College of Health Professions has accepted this challenge!
