CHP Research Day 2009

 

The CHP Research Day was a great success thanks to the tremendous participation faculty and students from across the College. There were over 50 posters representing collaborations among over 150 graduate students and faculty from CHP. Importantly, over three dozen faculty participated as members of interdisciplinary judging teams. Judges included:

A special thanks is extended to the very committed and efficient members of the CHP Research Day Committee, which included both faculty and graduate students from across the College: Stephen Lepore, Carole Tucker, Ryan Tierney, Megan Davison, Andrew DeMarco, Lori Martin Plank, Anne Russ, Tamar Klaiman, Fern Silverman.

We also wish to acknowledge the Dean's Office for financial support for the event, the excellent facilities assistance from Sharon Torres, Assistant Director of Howard Gittis Student Center, and the ever-helpful Carol Dash for organizing the refreshments.

There were 10 awards for Meritorious Posters and 2 Dean's Awards for Outstanding Posters that were selected from those 10. The first two posters listed below received both the Meritorious Poster citation and the Dean's Award.
