FacultyStephen CarpP.T., Ph.D., G.C.S.
Dr. Carp earned his BS in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 1979, his MS in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 1986, and his PhD from Temple University in 2005. He is a geriatric certified specialist (GCS). Dr. Carp is Director of Admissions and Outcome Assessment. He also provides instruction in the areas of management of physical therapy services, teaching/learning/group dynamics, biomechanics, and clinical examination and interventional skills. His research interests include the systemic effects of serum pro-inflammatory biomarkers as related to repetitive strain disorder, performance improvement, paradigm shifts within large healthcare organizations, and customer service protocols. Prior to entering the academic field, Dr. Carp held various positions in teaching hospitals including Vice-President of Rehabilitation Services.
