About NSSLHA

Founded in 1972, the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is the national organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication. NSSLHA is the only official national student association recognized by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

NSSLHA has approximately 11,000 members with local chapters in more than 301 colleges & universities, including Temple University.

Our local chapter of NSSLHA at Temple gives students an opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs, social events, and community service activities with peers who are in the same course of study. It provides students with access to information concerning local activities, scholarships opportunities, job offerings, and ASHA events
