Welcome to the Language and Literacy Lab

The mission of the Language and Literacy Lab at Temple University is to understand the relationship between preschool children’s language development and subsequent literacy development and how best to facilitate language and reading abilities and written language among children who are bilingual language learners and/or who come from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

Dr. Megan Dunn Davison is an assistant professor at Temple University and a certified speech-language pathologist. The Language and Literacy Lab also includes students training to become researchers or clinicians in speech pathology.

The Language and Literacy Lab is part of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Temple University.
