Authorization to Establish a
For-Profit
Educational Subsidiary
Recommendation: That the Board of Trustees, upon the
recommendation of the Strategic Planning Committee (9/28/99), authorize
the officers to take all necessary and appropriate steps to establish a
for-profit educational subsidiary corporation to facilitate the
development, marketing, gathering capital and delivery of on-line and
technology-mediated distance education programs in regional and global
markets.
