Operating Budgets, 1998-99 and 1999-00
For the 17th consecutive year, the annual operating budget of the
University was balanced, with operations more favorable than budget.
For 1999-00, the annual operating budget for the University
contains another major initiative. "The Plan to Renew Temple's Mission,
Phase 2 Funds" will be invested in e-commerce, e-media, and on-line
initiatives including startup costs for "Virtual Temple."
I congratulate the faculty, students, alumni and outstanding administrators for these developments.
