Principles for Career Service Professionals

By using the Owlnetwork (eRecruiting) system, you agree to confirm to all ethical and professional practices and to assume personal responsibility throughout the employment process. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your account.

  • Provide current and reliable contact information for Career Development Services (CDS) and employers.
  • Respond appropriately to communication for CDS and employers.
  • Adhere to schedules-Thoroughly research organizations prior to interviewing and accepting positions.
  • Notify CDS immediately if you encounter questionable practices or irregularities in the employment process.
  • Notify CDS in writing upon acceptance of a job offer.
  • Withdraw from other on-campus recruiting events upon acceptance of an offer.
  • Consider acceptance of employment as a commitment to that employer.
  • Reneging an acceptance is not condoned by CDS and will result in loss of service to you.

Employers

  • Supply accurate information about your organization and employment opportunities.
  • Communicate with candidates and CDS within the agreed upon time frame.

  • Honor all offers of employment to candidates.
