Independence Blue Cross
Student Recreation Center (IBC)

Open since the beginning of the 1998 spring semester, the Independence Blue Cross Student Recreation Center provides students, employees, and alumni of Temple University with a variety of new and improved recreational opportunities.  Access (as determined by the Student Recreation Board) is available to students authorized for access under the user fee schedule.  Employees of Temple and Temple Alumni may pick up a user fee brochure from our office.  The IBC center is the primary area for general fitness activities and programs.  Located at the corner of 15th Street and Cecil B Moore Avenue, the entrance to the center is off of 15th Street across from the parking garage. Authorized access policies are strictly enforced.
