The Center for African American Research and Public Policy is dedicated to the development, defense, and empowerment of the African American community in Philadelphia. CAARPP focuses on four particular areas: Education, Economic Development, Health and Family & Crime and Justice. Task forces have been formed for each of these areas to facilitate the development of relevant and well-defined research that will be used to better understand current issues facing African American communities.
