Organizational Studies at Temple is designed for the adult student who desires to complete a bachelor's degree. Recently developed by Temple faculty, it is an innovative liberal arts degree with a business focus, building competencies in communications and technology as well as in critical thinking. Its intellectual center is the study of organizations in a social science framework, and it provides information about the workplace of the present and the future. Five foundation courses begin this major, which can be completed by taking one of a wide range of courses to fulfill each of its advanced requirements, concluding with a research/writing capstone.
The delivery of Organizational Studies is also innovative. Temple courses can be taken online as well as in traditional classrooms at University campuses.
Temple considers a student of 22 years of age or older to be an adult student and accommodates elements of the application process for them.
