SUMMARY OF GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

MAJOR IN RUSSIAN

Prerequisites:  Russian 0051 and 0052 or equivalent placement with a minimum grade of C.  

Required courses:  10 courses from the Russian curriculum, including Russian C061 and 0062, Russian 0149.

  • Students who place out of C061 will need one additional elective; those who place out of 0062 will need two additional electives.

*Indicates writing capstone for the major

To be considered for Distinction in Major, students must:

(1) Complete the requirements for the concentration in Russian with a GPA of at least 3:50;

(2) Be recommended to the Chair of the department by the Russian faculty advisor:
