Web Copywriter
A top brand in the area is looking to redo the copy on their website and interactive materials. From the home page to microsites, a copywriter can leave their mark on this international and heavily recognized brand. Your work will be viewed by the masses and your portfolio will be the envy of the local editorial scene.
This role can either be full time freelance on an ongoing basis, or could be a direct hire opportunity. For the freelance role, this position would require at least 2-3 days a week of onsite work in Wilmington, DE. Traditionally this company has outsourced all of its creative work to advertising agencies, so this is an opportunity for a highly conceptive and distinguished web copywriter to make their mark.
For consideration, candidates must boast a portfolio that illustrates their web writing ability. The portfolio should show website content as well as other interactive materials. Candidates must have worked with large brands or companies and show how their content adheres to the brand and culture of the organization. Also candidates must have basic knowledge of HTML, website technologies, web navigation, user interaction and content development. Finally, candidates must have the moxie to make copy suggestions to senior-level management.

Audio Positions at Safe Sound Archives
Reformatting Audio Engineer Responsibilities: reformatting (digitization) of archival audio materials. Works in collaborative environment under supervision of Studio Manager and Preservation Administrator; working with and training assistant engineers. Requirements: prior experience with care and handling of obsolete or deteriorating media, or commensurate audio experience. Reports to Studio Manager.
Assistant Engineer Responsibilities: ³finishing² deliverables of digitized files (burning media, labeling, duplication). Works in collaborative environment under supervision of Studio Manager and Preservation Administrator, and receive training from senior engineers. Requirements: This is an entry-level position. Candidates are unlikely to have appropriate audio archival experience (training is part of the job) so should not be discouraged from applying. Reports to Studio Manager.
Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities: verification of digitized audio materials. Works in collaborative environment under supervision of the owner and Quality Control Manager. Requirements: obsessive attention to detail; prior experience in archival/library/museum environment preferred. QC department reports directly to the owner.
