Boyer to Participate in Strategic National Arts Alumni Project Survey

September 17, 2013

This coming fall, the Boyer College will participate in the 2013 Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP) -- a one-of-a-kind survey that explores the lives and careers of arts alumni nationwide.

Dance and Music graduates should keep an eye out for an e-mail invitation over the next several weeks from SNAAP, which will enable them to share insights regarding whether they pursued a career in dance or music, or followed a different career path, and which specific skills they found to be the most helpful or lacking in their professional lives. The information gathered from our alumni will be used to strengthen our programs here so we can better prepare today’s students for success in dance and music or to use what they learn in other professional fields.

Once the survey is complete, participating alumni will be able to view a web site that provides a glimpse into the educational training and professional careers of other arts graduates throughout the country  --- where they live, what they do for a living, and how training in the arts has influenced their professional lives.

SNAAP is a project of the Indiana University Center for Postsecondary Research and the Vanderbilt University Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy.   To view additional information about the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project, go to http://snaap.indiana.edu.
